OZCAR (Critical Zone Observatories: Research and Application) is a national distributed research infrastructure associating most of the French observation sites dedicated to the observation and monitoring of the Critical Zone, CZ, the thin outer venner of Earth’s continents extending from the top of the vegetation canopy down to groundwater.
The 10th annual conference of the OZCAR Research Infrastructure (IR) was held in La Baule (Loire-Atlantique) at the Golden Tulip Hotel from 16 to 19 March 2026. After a three-year hiatus, IR OZCAR will resume its series of Thematic Schools in 2026 (see previous editions here).The next edition will take place from Sunday, June 28 (late afternoon) to Saturday, July 4, 2026 (breakfast) at the Résidence Kerguelen in Larmor Plage (Morbihan).
