A look back at the annual OZCAR 2025 ‘Critical Zone and Health’ days!

The 9th Annual Meeting of the IR OZCAR took place from 10 to 13 March 2025 in Levier (Doubs). Seventy-five participants were present on site and around fifteen were able to contribute remotely. We would like to thank all the participants for the rich exchanges and lively discussions that took place throughout the day.
Despite the rain, which did not put off the participants, the field visits enabled them to discover the Frasne-Bouverans peatland site (SNO Tourbières) and the karstic sites of the Jurassic Karst observatory (SNO Karst), and to see how these sites are integrated into the problems of the region and the richness provided by collaboration between research and society.
