OZCAR Annual Meeting 2026

The upcoming OZCAR Research Infrastructure annual meeting will take place from 16 to 19 march 2026 in La Baule in Loire-Atlantique (Golden Tulip Hotel).

The theme of the meeting will be « Urban Critical Zone » with keynote speakers Julie Gobert, researcher in urbanism and geography at LEESU (Laboratoire Eau Environnement Systèmes Urbains) and Ghozlane Fleury, Professor of social and environmental psycholoy at Laboratoire de Psychologie des Pays de la Loire.

In line with the theme of the conference, the field trip will take us to discover sites and research conducted at ONEVU (Observatoire Nantais des Environnements Urbains) which belongs to the SNO Observil.

The programme for the event is currently being finalised and will be organised as follows:

  • Monday 16th afternoon: review and outlook for IR OZCAR and review of WP1, WP2 and WP3
  • Tuesday 17th: field visit
  • Wednesday 18th: key witnesses, review of cross-cutting themes, presentation and discussion of new cross-cutting themes
  • Thursday 19th morning: workshop on instrumentation needs, joint brainstorming workshop on certain parts of the SNO evaluation dossier in 2026
