OZCAR Annual Meeting 2024 (save the date)

The 7th annual days of the OZCAR Research Infrastructure will be held from 25 to 28 March 2024 at the MILEADES centre in Samatan in the Gers department.

The theme of the conference is: “FAIR data, participatory science and the use of research data by society”, with key speakers sharing their experience of FAIR data and participatory science.

  • Maryse Carmes (CNAM, responsible for WP4 “from sensor to action in TERRA FORMA”);
  • Romain Julliard (MNHN, director of the “Methods and tools for participatory sciences” service unit)”;
  • Françoise Genova (CDS Strasbourg, astronomer)

This meeting will provide an opportunity to present the state of progress of the OZCAR IR workpackages and to present the new cross-disciplinary scientific themes of the 2024 call for projects.
Wednesday will be devoted to field visits, with a morning tour of the Auradé ICOS flux tower site (OSR Sud-Ouest Observatory) and IR OZCAR’s Auradé catchment. The afternoon will be devoted to the presentation of flagship projects and methodological developments.
