OZCAR Price 2021

 

Within the annual days OZCAR 2021, the OZCAR prize was awarded to a young researcher, Virginie Sellier, expert in geochemistry, for a publication released after its thesis research work carried out at LSCE (Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l’Environnement) – a CEA flagship thesis on the development of sediment tracing methods to quantify the impact of nickel mines on the clogging of rivers and silting of New Caledonia’s lagoons (IMMILA project – https://cnrt.nc/immila/).
