2nd OZCAR Summer School

The second OZCAR summer school will take place from 4th to 8th July 2022 at the Séolane site in Barcelonnette. Under the title “Draw me an observatory”, the school’s aim is focused on the matter of the ideal Critical Zone Observatory. Following the overview of various disciplines of the Critical Zone and their interrelationships presented at the first OZCAR summer school in 2021, this second edition is aimed at presenting the emblematic objects that the Critical Zone Observatories represent. Courses are scheduled mornings and afternoons will be devoted to practical exercises (with experimental manipulations in groups), as well as outdoor classes for a multidisciplinary reading of the landscape on an instrumented site of the Critical Zone (Glissement de la Valette).

The call for applications is open from 8 February 2022 to 15 April 2022.
